Exchibition and Charity Auction GOOD PIXELS

The end of April will see the opening of “Good Pixels” – an exhibition of children-themed paintings in Pragaleria in Warsaw.  In May, the event will culminate in a charity auction with the revenue donated to “Przylądek” Non-public Primary School for children with autism spectrum disorders.

Polish Digital Art and Pragaleria (Warsaw) collaborate once again to prepare a digital art exhibition. However, his time it will be a little different, for the authors of the presented paintings were asked to create works related to widely understood themes of the world of children. In a way, the task was a challenge, since in order to fully grasp the concept of this project the artists had to adapt a child's way of looking at the world around them, while still using their years of experience. The effect is a collection of professional works that would not be put to shame by a child's imagination.

The opening of “Good Pixels” will take place on April 27 at 6:00 p.m. in Pragaleria (Stalowa 3, Warsaw), after which the organisers invite the guests for an after party in the nearby Skład Butelek (11 Listopada 22). The exhibition will end on May 18 with a charity auction starting at 7:30 p.m. and featuring the digitally prepared, exclusive first prints of the paintings reproduced in strictly limited editions. The money gathered at the auction will be donated to “Przylądek” Non-public Primary School for children with autism spectrum disorders, where they will be used to finance interactive whiteboards, computer hardware and other equipment necessary for some of the school's pupils to enable communication with other people.

The organisers would like to invite everyone to visit the exhibition and to bid on the paintings during the auction. It is a perfect way to both allow those in need to spread their wings and to acquire unique works by celebrated Polish artists.

The event is sponsored by Wacom Polska, Eizo and Warsaw School of Information Technology WIT.
