Moon Light Darek Zabrocki
Darek Zabrocki's work entitled "Moon Light", 2015 Adobe Photoshop, 90 x 56 cm; signed on front, described on the back.
It is clear that in night time the human eye can discern far less details than in daylight. There are some exceptions to this rule, however, as moonlight starts to play the leading role. What interests Darek Zabrocki in night time paintings is that they leave the artist room for uncertainty and give him a way to hide things from the audience. But is not moonlight even more appealing when it rewards the careful viewer for seeking the obscure elements? The “Moonlight” painting does just that.
