While working on his art piece, the author often has many different ideas for its realisation. The only way to proceed is then to draw all of them, using different strategies and as much time and attention as the final effect would merit, for only such a visualisation of the concepts in the artist's mind will allow him to make a sensible decision. This piece is the second in a series of four sketches that the artist had prepared before finally creating the “Riot” painting.
